About Me

Hi, I’m Talia!

Curiosity fuels my adventures.

Currently an American expat in Europe. It all started when I moved away. Ok, not really. I had the idea of writing while I was still living in New York City as a way to not alienate myself from the world while I worked insane hours, as most New Yorkers do.

My passion for travel started thanks to my parents by sending my sister and myself to their Mother Land in Eastern Europe every summer until we were 15. Which would explain why I was thoroughly convinced I was born at an airport. The wanderlust and travel itch haven’t eased up but instead gotten stronger. Although, I don’t want to quit my job to travel I want to help inspire people like you to manage your day job and realize your travel dreams. It is possible!

I’m crazy about seeing the world and I’m just as crazy about sharing my travel plans and how I manage a full time job, packing more efficiently, traveling on a budget, and making the most of weekends. I’m also passionate about inspiring others to face their fears of traveling solo. I’ll be writing a lot more on the tips and tricks stuff soon so be sure to keep coming back.

A few other things about me to hopefully prove I’m just as human as you are (and because I know you’re curious):

My 9-5 is being a fashion designer.

I’m an extrovert.
